Mudawem™ One-Year Limited Warranty

Applies to Mudawem signs originally purchased on or after July 21, 2026.

The short version

Your Mudawem sign is covered for one year from the day you buy it. If it stops working because of a manufacturing defect, we will repair it, replace it, or refund you, free of charge, and we cover standard shipping both ways.

Covered

Defects in materials or workmanship under normal, everyday use.

Not covered

Drops, spills, misuse, unauthorized changes, normal wear, or problems caused by your own cable or adapter or by internet and Wi-Fi outages.

Full warranty terms

This Limited Warranty is provided by Intrahold Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for the Mudawem sign, Model MDW-01 (“Mudawem” or the “product”). We warrant that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase.

Who this warranty covers

This warranty extends to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. You may be asked for proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt, to confirm eligibility and the purchase date.

What this warranty covers

During the warranty period, we will, at our option and free of charge, repair the product, replace it with a new or refurbished product of equal or substantially similar function, or refund the original purchase price, if the product has a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use. A repaired or replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. Repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless required by applicable law.

Warranty service and shipping

If we require the product to be returned for warranty service, we will provide a prepaid shipping label or another prepaid return method. For a claim covered by this warranty, we will pay the standard shipping costs both to and from our warranty service location. You will not be charged for covered warranty service, including parts, labor, or standard shipping.

Expedited shipping, special packaging, or other optional shipping services requested by you are not covered unless we agree otherwise.

How to make a claim

To request warranty service, email support@mudawem.com before returning anything. Include your order number or proof of purchase and a short description of the problem. We will respond with next steps and, if a return is needed, a prepaid way to send the product to us.

If possible, reset the Mudawem sign through the app before returning it: open Settings and choose Reset sign. This removes your stored Wi-Fi credentials and unlinks the sign from your account. Contact support if the sign cannot be reset.

If we determine that the issue is not covered by this warranty, we will explain the reason and any available options before performing a paid repair or taking any action that would result in a charge. We will not charge you without your approval.

What this warranty does not cover

  • Damage caused while opening, modifying, servicing, or attempting to repair the product.
  • Damage caused by a defective, damaged, incompatible, counterfeit, uncertified, or improperly rated cable or power adapter supplied by you. We recommend a safety-certified (UL- or ETL-listed) 5V USB adapter.
  • Damage caused by misuse, accident, dropping, liquid or moisture exposure, or use outside a dry indoor environment.
  • Normal cosmetic wear, and minor variations in the finish of the assembled housing.
  • Products whose serial number or identification label has been removed, altered, or made unreadable, when the missing information prevents us from reasonably verifying the product or its warranty eligibility.
  • Failures or interruptions caused solely by third-party internet, Wi-Fi, mobile-device, app-store, telecommunications, or electrical services.

This exclusion does not eliminate coverage for an otherwise qualifying defect in the Mudawem sign's hardware or embedded firmware.

Refunds under this warranty

Any refund will include the original product purchase price and applicable sales tax. Original expedited-shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law.

Limitation on implied warranties

To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one-year duration of this limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of damages

To the extent permitted by law, Intrahold Ventures LLC will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Your legal rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
