Delete your account

Mudawem has two separate accounts. Use the section that matches the one you want removed.

App account

This is the account the Mudawem app creates for your prayer times and your sign. If you still have the app installed, you can delete it yourself:

  1. Open the Mudawem app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Delete account, or Delete my data if you never added an email address.
  4. Confirm. The erasure happens immediately.

This erases your settings, your prayer history, and your email address from our servers, and returns any paired sign to its unpaired state. The sign itself keeps working as a piece of hardware and can be set up again from scratch.

If you no longer have the app installed

Email support@mudawem.com from the email address on the account, or send the same request through our contact form. Say that you want your account deleted and we will do it for you. If you never added an email address, include the id of your sign instead if you have it. It starts with PRAY. If you have neither, write to us anyway and we will work it out with you.

We complete these within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

Store account

This is the separate login used to buy a sign on mudawem.com and see your orders. Sign in, open the Account page, and choose Delete account. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will handle it.

What we keep

Deleting your app account removes all of it. Nothing about your prayers, settings, or email is retained.

Deleting your store account removes your login, your customer record, and your payment-processor profile, and strips personal details from past orders. The order records themselves are kept in anonymized form because accounting and tax rules require it. Anonymized here means the record can no longer be traced back to you.

Deleting your history without deleting your account

If you only want a clean slate, open Settings in the app and choose Delete history. That wipes your prayer history and keeps your account, your email, and your paired sign. Reset sign in the same screen unlinks the sign and clears its Wi-Fi details without touching your account.
